It aims to improve the living conditions of the most destitute of children, to provide support for the orphaned, to insure the reconstruction of buildings not fit for human habitation and to provide much needed assistance to local schoolteachers, helping them to achieve their immediate educational goals.

Why support Saigeetha's SRI SAI VIDYANIKETHAN free school?

Naganna, a teacher in the region of Andra Pradesh in southern India, and his wife Saigeetha strove to gather together the street children of their village and the surrounding rural areas so as to teach them the rudiments of reading and writing in Tegulu and Hindi.

Many children are forced to work long hours in the home and in the fields from a tender age by their parents, themselves the victims of extreme poverty, or are otherwise left to fend for themselves. Some end up on the street permanently, after the death of their parents, or in the hands of those who would exploit them.

Naganna and Saigeetha's mission to ensure a better life for these children and their children continues to this day, in the shape of SRI SAI VIDYANIKETHAN free school.
